experience the atmosphere at our home across the Ocean.
As an Official Liverpool Supporters Club, we have the ability to request tickets for Premier League matches at Anfield.

In accordance with Official LFC Supporters Club (OLSC) requirements, the Official LFC Supporters Club OLSC Newcastle, Australia establishes the following By-Laws:
SECTION I – MISSION
1. OLSC Newcastle, Australia will represent Liverpool Football Club (LFC) in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Hunter Region
2. OLSC Newcastle, Australia will bring local supporters together through their love of LFC
3.OLSC Newcastle, Australia will protect and enhance the good name of LFC
4.OLSC Newcastle, Australia will organize high quality services and events for OLSC Newcastle members
5. OLSC Newcastle, Australia will promote, maintain, and value the history of LFC
6.OLSC Newcastle, Australia will communicate the views of OLSC Newcastle members to LFC
7.OLSC Newcastle, Australia will support LFC-related charitable causes and local charitable causes
SECTION II – REQUIREMENTS
1. All OLSC Newcastle, Australia members must follow Code of Conduct under Section VIII of these
By-Laws
2. OLSC Newcastle, Australia will not be run for personal financial gain
3.OLSC Newcastle, Australia will maintain a membership of at least 50 registered Branch members – with a minimum of 15 OLSC Newcastle, Australia members also holding an LFC Official Membership
4. All OLSC Newcastle, Australia members will live in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Hunter Region
5. OLSC Newcastle, Australia will charge a membership fee of $15 and this fee covers

Invitations to Members-Only Events
Should any changes be made to this, OLSC Newcastle, Australia will:

Notify LFC and provide all details on membership fees, including documentation of membership fees and explanation on the purpose and use of the membership fees

Provide a receipt to each OLSC Newcastle, Australia member paying a membership fee

Revise By-Laws as needed
If OLSC Newcastle, Australia establishes a club bank account in the future, OLSC Newcastle, Australia will:

Notify LFC and provide all details on the club bank account, including documentation of club bank account and explanation on the purpose and use of the club bank account

Revise By-Laws as needed
6. OLSC Newcastle, Australia will use LFC trademarks, logos, or club crests in accordance with the full branding guidelines in the OLSC Policy that OLSC Newcastle, Australia signs up to and agrees to bide by each season.
7. OLSC Newcastle, Australia will establish a committee to ensure the fair running of OLSC Newcastle, represent LFC in an appropriate manner at all times, and be accountable to its membership
8. OLSC Newcastle, Australia will have an Annual General Meeting in May of every season – date, time, and location to be determined
9. At the first Annual General Meeting, OLSC Newcastle, Australia will establish a set of By-Laws fit for the regulation and good management of OLSC Newcastle, Australia, Committee Meetings, and Annual General Meetings
10. Annual General Meeting minutes will be recorded and be made available upon request to all branch members and LFC. Meeting agendas will be drafted and distributed prior to the meeting start, Annual General Meetings will be open floor with any member having the right to raise any issue under OLSC Newcastle, Australia any other business
11. OLSC Newcastle, Australia will not share any personal (e-mail address, mailing address, phone number) or financial information with any outside third parties
12. Amendments to these By-Laws must be submitted and voted on at the Annual General Meeting – subject to a majority vote
13. Each OLSC Newcastle, Australia Committee position will be subject to majority vote, serving a year’s term, and require re-election at the Annual General Meeting
14. Each OLSC Newcastle, Australia Committee nominee must meet the following requirements:
▪ Must have an Official LFC membership (required by LFC)
▪ Must be willing and available to carry out their roles and responsibilities as a minimum
▪ Must uphold the mission and abide by the By-Laws of OLSC Newcastle, Australia
▪ Must live in the Greater Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Hunter Region
▪ Attend monthly meetings, no-less than 2/3rds for the year
▪ Attend at least 1 match day a month
SECTION III – BECOMING AN OFFICIAL MEMBER OF YOUR LOCAL OLSC
1. Membership of the Official LFC Supporters Club – Newcastle, Australia is open to anyone who supports Liverpool FC that lives in, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Hunter Region, Australia, and is committed to the vision and values of the supporter’s club, as stated on the home page of our website.
2. Official Membership of the supporters club will begin as soon as the Online Membership Registration Form has been completed and the membership fee has been received.
SECTION IIII – CEASING TO BE AN OFFICIAL MEMBER
1. Any member who has not renewed their membership by the expiry date of their existing membership will no longer be an Official Member of the Supporters Club. Reminders to renew membership will be sent in advance of exiting memberships expiring.
2. Any behaviour, in person or online, that is deemed offensive or brings the Official LFC Supporters Club Newcastle, Australia or Liverpool Football Club’s reputation into disrepute may result in suspension or expulsion from the supporters club, including breaches of the club’s Equal Opportunities Policy (see below). The supporters club has a Disciplinary Policy that details how such matters will be handled and is available to any member on request by emailing olscnewcastleaus@gmail.com
SECTION IV – EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES POLICY
1. Official Liverpool Supporters Club - Newcastle, Australia will not discriminate, or tolerate any discrimination from its members, on the grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, marital status or civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, political beliefs, race, religious beliefs, sex or sexual orientation.
2. If you have any disabilities or special needs that you think we should be aware of so we can make our events more accessible and inclusive please notify the Chair of the Executive committee Team by emailing olscnewcastleaus@gmail.com so we can make any reasonable adjustments to ensure we meet your needs - this information will be treated in the strictest confidence.
SECTION IV – CLUB CONSTITUTION & POLICIES
1. Official Liverpool Supporters Club has a ‘Constitution’ (governing document) and a range of policies, listed below, that detail how it will conduct its business. SECTION VI - MATCHDAY EVENT TICKET FAIR USE POLICY
1 You must not register Official Member Tickets for non-members.
2 If you are booking tickets for other Official Members, please check they have not already booked a ticket. Please also be careful not to book your own ticket twice - it creates unnecessary admin for our team if people are double-booked and will deny another member of our community access to the event, and it saves our team the task of deleting duplicate tickets.
3 You must enter the individual name, email addresses and membership numbers for each member you are registering a ticket for.
4 If you book a ticket and realise you cannot make the event, please cancel your ticket on Eventbrite, rather than messaging us about this. That way the ticket automatically becomes available to someone else.
SECTION VIII - LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
Official Liverpool Supporters Club - Newcastle, Australia and Liverpool Football Club do not accept any liability for the loss or damage of member’s possessions or for any physical injuries sustained by members while attending any event hosted by OLSC - Newcastle, Australia, or Liverpool Football Club.
SECTION VIII – CODE OF CONDUCT
While OLSC Newcastle, Australia members bring diverse opinions on all aspects related to the business of OLSC Newcastle, Australia, we are committed to respecting each other and reaching a consensus on all matters. We are determined to act justly, and are bound by these By-Laws, to deliver outcomes that are in the best interests of everyone associated with OLSC Newcastle, Australia. All OLSC Newcastle, Australia members are part of LFC’s Official LFC Supporters Club Branch Network and, therefore, must uphold the values and good name of LFC. OLSC Newcastle, Australia members are expected to be exemplary representatives of LFC and as such are asked to follow this Code of Conduct. All members shall treat fellow LFC supporters as well as supporters of other football clubs with courtesy and respect. No supporters shall threaten another football fan or sing offending chants toward other supporters. No member shall degrade or commit an act of violence on any other person while attending matches at Anfield, Away Matches or any other OLSC Newcastle, Australia event. Any violation of the Code of Conduct by an OLSC Newcastle, Australia member could result in the expulsion from OLSC Newcastle, Australia.
SECTION IX – EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE STRUCTURE
OLSC Newcastle, Australia will be comprised of the the following roles and shall make up the Executive Committee (EC) and subcommittee, with the expected duties and responsibilities:
a. Chairman – to be elected each year at the AGM

Ensures that all active members act according to these by‐laws and in accordance with reasonable standards expected of all supporters

Stimulates activities within the organization to support the mission of OLSC Newcastle, Australia

Has final tie‐breaking vote of the Executive Committee on any issues that require a committee vote

Is a voting member of the Executive Committee
b. Secretary – to be elected each year at the AGM

Organizes and schedules committee meetings

Issues receipts to all paying members
-
Write’s meeting agendas and records meeting minutes

Maintains membership records
-
Keeps all written records and files for OLSC Newcastle, Australia

Is a voting member of the Executive Committee
c. Treasurer – to be elected each year at the AGM

Maintains all invoicing and financial records

Maintains all expenditure records
-
Provides the current balance sheet to the secretary at least two weeks prior to the AGM
-
Is a voting member of the Executive Committee
The following roles shall make up the Sub Committee:
d. Event Coordinator/community liaison – to be named at AGM

Schedules all official OLSC Newcastle, Australia events

Work closely with venue Liaison to ensure proper venue for events is secured

This role may be held by someone with another role in the Organizational Committee

e. Social Media Coordinator – to be named at AGM

Responsible for maintaining all social media content and keeping it current, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

The following roles shall make up non-Committee (unless role undertaken by a committee member.
Website – to be named at AGM

Updates and maintains all content on OLSC website.

Is NOT a voting member of the Executive Committee
All roles to be reviewed and re-assigned at the AGM if and when required, should a committee member and role become available prior to AGM then Executive committee will convene and assign role to new candidate, if more than one candidate then a vote will take place with a majority outcome to determine outcome.
Additional Roles - to be named at AGM and defined by the Executive committee. Any additional roles that result in increasing the number of persons serving on the Executive Committee shall require an amendment to these by‐laws.
Changes - In the event that an elected member of the EC needs to resign or be removed for any reason, the chairman shall name their successor until the permanent replacement can be voted on at the next AGM (if required). If the chairman needs to be replaced, then the current Secretary shall fill that void and name an interim Secretary.
The rules contained in the current edition The Official Liverpool FC Supporters Club Policy shall be the parliamentary authority for all matters not specifically covered in these bylaws and standing rules.
